Store Review

I'm back with another installment of Store Review. A couple weekends ago I had the pleasure of stopping in to Paper Source in Princeton to pick up a gift for my mother-in-law and to check out the store for the first time myself. And it was everything I was expecting. The store is beautiful. There is wall-to-wall color from the letterpress notecards on one side to the loose sheets of wrapping or scrapbooking paper on the other. Allow me to let the photos do the talking:

(Sorry about the fuzzy photos, not my camera, they're from Google)

These Vera Wang notecards were a personal favorite but at $38.00 for a box of ten I don't know if I could ever justify the splurge. And even if I bought them I don't know if I could ever bring myself to write on them-- they could be framed they're so lovely.

The paper at Paper Source is of the highest quality and is so visually stunning it could all be framed and used as art on its own. To wrap a gift in this paper is like giving two presents. The only thing I have to say is that the store is priced adequately and you are paying for the best quality paper out there, as well as the hand-made designs of the notecards. But for the occasional splurge or gift I believe it is definitely worth the trip. I wound up picking out a box of printed notecards and two sets of four lovely napkins for my mother-in-law, which she loved {Glad you liked them!} and wrapped a simple ribbon around one of these adorable boxes (the one on the right).

They also sell the most beautiful desk and wall calendars and I think I may have to go back or shop online for one of my own.

Overall I'd rate this store an A

Has anyone ever been to a Paper Source? Anyone think a store that sells only paper goods is bound to go out of business?
