A Soft Place To Land

An alternate title to this post could be "Birthday Shopping Round I." For my birthday this year my mom was asking what she could get for me and I was at a loss for something specific I wanted. "I really would just like a Marshalls gift card, really" I told her. And whaddaya know, that's exactly what she gave me, and it was perfect. And what's even better is that Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and HomeGoods are all interchangeable when it comes to gift cards and even returns (I gave them a call before heading over). So off to HomeGoods I was, eager to find something that would catch my eye since I didn't really have anything in mind. And you should all know by now how much I love HomeGoods.

After browsing for a little while, I spotted a few items that would add a nice touch to our Landing, so that was the new plan: Update the Landing for Spring. Coming home with me was a nice round white mirror and a round green tray:

I love the trellis print of the tray atop my Parsons desk and the way the color seems to make sense of that crazy rug

I simply typed and printed that photo from my computer. It's something Dan said to me back in middle school once and I will never forget it. I also got to swap out my Target frame for the new blue one.

(for our church's praise team).

And that's the story of a successful trip to HomeGoods and a refreshed-for-Spring Landing update. Anyone else doing some Spring tweaking?
