I also told you that I wasn't really a lipstick kinda gal, but it was too nice to pass up. Then my birthday happened. I went home Thursday on my lunch break to find a sweet Little Brown Bag from my Mom waiting for me. Inside were three different Mac cosmetics: one lipstick, one lip glass, and a cremesheen glass. I tried all three on, but I wasn't really crazy about any of them. So back to the Mac counter I went to see if maybe I could find something else I might like. I decided to try on some of the lipsticks and see how they looked/felt.
Then things changed. I always hated how lipstick felt tacky and then dried out leaving a feathered mess behind. But the Mac lipstick felt great, nice and creamy and soft, and not to mention beautiful! It took me a little time but I wound up finding three lipsticks I really liked:
1. Modesty (Cremesheen) "Muted Neutral Pink"
2. Capricious (Lustre) "Fanciful Rose Plum"
3. Sweetie (Lustre) "Ultra Sweet Pink"
And the best part of all, they fit like a gem into my vintage holder:
I also moved them out of my bedroom and into the bathroom with the rest of my makeup, ya know, so I don't forget about them since I never really wore lipstick before.
