That's the status of the built-ins as of last night. I rehung the doors with the original hardware and hinges since they were easy and available.
The hinges, albeit a little country for my taste, will probably stay. The pulls however...
I don't like the way they're looking at me... All I see are two beady eyes and I'm not liking it one bit. I asked Dan to draw me a creepy face to convey what I see when I look at them this is what I got:
Yeah, that's about right. While I don't exactly see a French man with a combover, I still don't like the look. It's an easy enough change though so I'll just have to live with being watched until I can get new ones. (There's a Hobby Lobby being built in our area as we speak and I'm so excited to have all those knobs and pulls so close! I won't have to go into PA anymore)
For now I'll leave you with this beyond amateur rendition of what they will look like with the crown molding which will also be around the rest of the room.
