Thrifty Kitchen Additions: Part 2

Hello again! If you missed out on the first thrifty addition check it out here. Now my second Goodwill find came home with me for only 99¢ and I just love it. This black and white Mikasa sugar bowl was the perfect little holder for our salt that's easily accessible and easy on the eyes.

Grouped by the stove it looks right at home with my other cooking essentials. I'm pretty much in love with it's black-and-white-ness and the overall lack of color in our kitchen, aside from the subtle blue ceiling.

I also moved our jars from the other side of the kitchen a while ago and I prefer them on this side in front of the pass-through to the hallway/living room. Now when you enter the front door you see the jars and not straight back to the dishes in the sink our toaster.

So there you have it! Two simple kitchen additions for about four bucks. Just goes to show, yet again, that you don't need to spend a lot to have a beautiful functional space.
