The most expensive purchase was this $6 cloche I found on clearance and used to "trap" my Dollar Store rat. The base I already owned and I was thrilled when I came home and realized it fit so perfectly! Although the cloche is kinda covered in French-y script and swirls, as well as the word Friendship across the back, I decided to just make it work after my attempts at scratching with some Goof Off and then a razor proved futile.
The pumpkins I bought in a bag of six for four bucks, making them about 65¢ each. I used two here and the rest found homes elsewhere.
Another print from the same set as the one in our hallway.
The suit cracks us up but the black cat is just too perfect.
The birch bark candles fit right in as does my thrift store ghost picked up sometime in the Spring.
Here's to planning ahead!
A Dollar Store crow from last year perches ominously on my soda crate and overlooks the whole scene.
Luckily I already had the candlesticks, frames, books, and votives so this little scene came in at only $7.30-- nothing scary about that!
