Christmas Cookie Swap

This past Sunday we hosted a Christmas Cookie Swap for the ladies at our church and it was tons of food, fellowship, and fun. After brunch (baked french toast, quiche lorraine, fruit salad and hash browns...yum...) we cleared the table and laid out all the cookies. The women were advised to bring about three dozen so there would be enough to snack on and then enough for each person to bring some home. I worried there wouldn't be enough but boy was I wrong. The traditional cookie swap "rules" say to bring as many dozen for as many people attending but that's just crazy-town. Each of the ladies were able to bring at least 1-2 dozen home and everyone loved it.

Using some extra wood rounds from our Christmas tree ornament project I taped little rounds of craft paper on each one and used them as cookie labels- they were perfect!

The Spread:

There was also a White Elephant exchange which is always a good time.
I won this sweet little sugar bowl which fits perfectly with my other white ceramics!

It was a great time.
